Answers to my most frequently asked questions about my holiday rental

 

I find the answers to the questions I ask about my rental with Oxygène Immobilier for my holiday in La Plagne.

Where can I collect the equipment I have pre-booked?

We will tell you which partner shop to go to, depending on where you live. If you're staying in a chalet, we can also offer you our exclusive « chalet fitting » service, which will allow you to choose your equipment without having to go out of your way. 

 

Where do the reserved ski lessons start?

At Plagne Centre, the Oxygène ski school meeting point is on the snow front, in front of the terrace of the Cocottes restaurant (ex-Chaudron). In Belle Plagne, the meeting point is just above the Pierre de Soleil residence. Please make sure you arrive 10-15 minutes early, to make it easier to organise and start the lessons (especially on your first day).

 

When and how do I book my reservation?

If you book more than one month before your planned arrival, we ask for a 25% deposit, with the balance due 30 days before the start of your stay. If you make your booking less than one month before your arrival, we will ask you to pay the full amount. You can pay by credit card, bank transfer, French cheque or cash.

 

When do I have to pay my additional benefits?

You have the option of booking them at the time of booking or on site on the day of your arrival, if this is easier for you. We do, however, ask that you book your ski or snowboard lessons in advance.

 

Are there any taxes to pay?

You will be asked to pay a day tax on arrival, amounting to €1.75 per day per person over the age of 18. Children are free of charge.

 

What should I do if my séday is cancelled?

We ask you to send us a letter by recorded delivery or an e-mail. If you have taken out the cancellation insurance offered by our agency, our insurance company will reimburse you the sums paid (minus the insurance premium) once the requested documents have been sent. If you have not taken out this insurance, the agency will retain the full amount of the deposit in the event of cancellation for more than one month, and the full amount of the balance for less than one month.

 

Do I have to do the swim before my departure?

We ask you to tidy up, clean the kitchen area and évacate the bins. A cleaning service will be provided after your departure. In the event that you leave the premises in an inappropriate state of dirtiness and disorder, we may be able to levy a cleaning surcharge on your deposit.

 

Are pets allowed ?

The general rule states that pets are not allowed. That said, some of our accommodation does accept them. A supplement of 10 euros per day will be charged for animals.

What to do when I arrive in La Plagne resort

When you arrive, you must go to our Oxygène Immobilier agency (Plagne Centre or Belle Plagne depending) to collect the keys to your accommodation. A member of our team will be on hand to welcome you and give you all the explanations you need for a stress-free and enjoyable start to your stay.

 

What are your opening hours?

We are open on Saturdays from 8am to 8pm, and from Sunday to Friday from 9am to 12.30pm and from 2.30pm to 7pm.

 

What happens if I arrive outside your opening hours ?

We ask you to inform us by telephone. We will make the necessary arrangements for the handover of your keys. Whatever happens, you will always be welcomed, even if it's late!

 

How can I get in touch with you during my séjour ?

We can always be contacted by phone or email, depending on the urgency of your request. You can also visit the agency during opening hours.

 

At what time can I collect the keys to my apartment/chalet ?

The time for collecting the keys is usually 5pm. However, accommodation may be ready earlier. If this is the case and you wish to move in earlier, don't worry. The best thing to do is to introduce yourself to the agency when you arrive at the resort. You can also leave your luggage in one of the luggage offices provided by the Tourist Office (Plagne Centre and Belle Plagne).

 

What time should I return the keys to my apartment/chalet ?

We kindly ask you to return the keys by 10:00 am at the latest. After a technical inspection of the premises, your deposit will be returned to you within a few days.

 

Can I change my orders for additional services in advance?

Yes, of course, you have until 7 days before your arrival to make any additions/changes to your package bookings, equipment hire, linen hire, etc. The best way to do this is to contact us by phone or email.

 

Is there a Wifi connection in the accommodation?

Some of our chalets or flats are equipped with WiFi, but not all. We offer very efficient Wifi box rentals. To find out more, go to your customer area à section « Prestations ».

 

Où do I need to récupér my packages ?

Your packages will be waiting for you at the agency, and will be given to you at the same time as the keys to your flat. If you haven't brought them with you, we'll point you in the direction of your nearest ski lift pass office.
