This year again, La Plagne has many surprises in store for you throughout the season. Whether at the beginning of the winter with the opening of the resort or in April with Subli'Cimes, discover the highlights of this new winter season 2022/2023 in La Plagne. 
 

• The opening weekend 

La Plagne opens its doors to the public on December 10th. For the occasion, some animations are planned for this superb day. You will be able to enjoy a dj set on the Bellecôte snow front from 12pm to 2pm. 
 
To finish this day in apotheosis, it’s once again at Plagne Bellecôte that the appointment is given. On the program, a night club atmosphere with a new DJ set and a magnificent firework which officially announces the opening of this new winter season.  
 

• The Christmas holidays 

What better way to celebrate Christmas than in the mountains. The Christmas spirit and ski outing will be part of the celebration. You may see Santa Claus and his elves throughout La Plagne area. • New Year's Eve 

This year, La Plagne is organizing its 14th edition of the “Pompon Rouge” night, on New Year's Eve. For the passage to the new year, discover an incredible fireworks display. It will be in Dou du Praz, located just above Plagne Village, at an altitude of over 2000m. The fireworks will be visible from all the sites in the resort. From Wednesday 28th December, the spotlights will be illuminated so everyone can spot the starting point of the fireworks. As for the soundtrack, it will be broadcast at midnight on the local radio, R'la Plagne, 101.5 FM. 
 

• Valentine's Day 

February is Valentine's Day. Can you think of a more romantic place to celebrate this festival of love than the splendid panorama of La Plagne? • The Born to be show 

In La Plagne, February is not only about Valentine's Day but also about the Born to be show. This sound and light show proposed by the Club des Sports of la Plagne will thrill you. On the program: skiing and snowboarding demonstrations, fireworks and many other surprises. This iconic event takes place on Thursday 16^th February, on the Slalom stadium located in Plagne Center and will attract, as in previous years, thousands of tourists on holiday in the resort. 
 

• The Triface’s race 

The Triface is a ski touring race corresponding to the ascent of the 3 summits overlooking Plagne Center: Grande Rochette - Verdon - Bécoin. The aim: to climb the 3 summits on ski touring. For the sportier, take part in the solo challenge, and for the amateurs, take part in the team race of 3: 1 summit per participant. 
This race is organized by the Grande Plagne Tourist Office and La Plagne Fire Brigade. This year, the Triface will take place on March 25^th 2023.  
 

• Subli'Cimes

Subli'Cimes is the main event of the end of the season in La Plagne. The 5 summits of La Plagne (Plan Bois - Roche de Mio - Rossa - Grande Rochette - Fornelet) will come alive with an original and surprising theme in the mountain. Last year, holidaymakers were able to enjoy activities such as Alice's maze at the Roche de Mio, or a waterslide and skimboard at the top of the Grande Rochette. Which wacky themes are planned for this year? See you from 7th to 12th April to discover the Subli'cimes.
